Truncated Predictor Feedback Control for Switched Linear Systems Subject to Input Delay and Saturation

Abstract : This paper investigates the semi-global stabilization for switched systems linear systems subject to input delay and saturation. Based on the developed switching-law-dependent state transformation, a TPF controller for switched systems is proposed, whose control gains are constructed with the parametric multiple Lyapunov equations (PMLE). The peak magnitude of the control signal is explicitly specified for any given initial state, in which the low-gain parameter can be adjusted in order to avoid exceeding the saturation limit. Consequently, the semi-global stabilization problem of the constrained switched system under the average dwell time (ADT) switching is solved for a bounded input delay and saturation. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed TPF control scheme.
